Guidelines for authors

How to post: ask the “Triumvirate” (Fra, Marc or Marco) to be added to the Contributors, if you feel comfortable with this platform (Blogger / blogspot). You will be able to access the Posting section (create / edit posts). Otherwise send them your post, already formatted according to the authors guidelines.

Conflict of interests: avoid to post about a book you wrote, an album you played in etc (in case, let us know for advertisement). By the way, you're also request not to post the composition of the Far Oer Islands National Team at the World Cup, or a report of your summer vacations, unless it's strictly necessary and it has a collective interest.

Categories: Reviews, Pieces or Fragments.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to structure the post:

a. Reviews

1. TITLE: Title of the book (or of the movie, album etc).

2. IMAGE (OPTIONAL): Cover of the book, album etc (possibly of the specific edition you read, listened to etc): upload it in a small format and place it on the left, if it’s possible.

3. SUBHEADING (first line of the text): author, editor, city, year.

4. TRANSLATIONS: list translations to major European languages (English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Català, Suomi, Corsu etc), when existing.

LEAVE 1 BLANK ROW between the subheading and the abstract.

5. ABSTRACT: in English, no more than 65 words (Do not specify “abstract” at the beginning of these lines, please)

LEAVE 1 BLANK ROW between the abstract and the text.

6. You can insert here (OPTIONAL) 2 rows to tell how you run across this book, album etc (where did you buy it, found it etc, only if you think this can be interesting, funny etc)

7. TEXT: any language, style etc. (telling how the book ends is not allowed!!!). Word limit: 350 words.

----------

b. Pieces

Report an original part of a book, movie etc; cite the author, title of the opera, editor and year after 1 blank row. You can give an appropriate title to the post (or only cite the title of the opera etc). Word limit: 150 words.

----------

c. Fragments

Cite one sentence (in bold); report the author, title of the opera, editor and year after 1 blank row. You can give an appropriate title to the post (or only cite the title of the opera etc)

Attenzione, credo che quando si scrivono i dato di un libro, si debbano mettere solo città ed edizione dell'edizione che si è letta. A proposito, sei sicuro che nell'edizione più nuova di Einaudi ci fosse scritto Milano?
